Summary of findings

Fedrigoni- Create a fully intregated campaign to launch and promote the Imaginative Colours paper selction tool in the UK.

My target audience was for the whole uk design industry including, fashion labels and boutiques, However I have tried to find a way to tie in all the design industries where I can promote to all the audiences but found the audience to wide. I researched the textiles industry and the only people who will be using the paper stock will be the graphic / visual designers. So I am going to aim the product at graphic / visual designers.

The Problem is how to target the whole design market in the UK to let them know bout the tool. This maybe in magazines or also exhibitions/ events. The product needs to be paper based.

I want to engage the audience with a short term impact but also a long term interest in the product. This will create a range for products to be produced.

I have also looked in competition and previous winners YCN Fedrigoni to get an idea of what they are looking for, of which is mostly hand-crafted.

The range of products - Mail shot, Magazine pullout, Poster, Long term products, pads, pencils Short term, maps for exhibitions, drinks.

The word "Imagine" Colours

Previous winners of Fedrigoni

An Idea for what previous winners have done to win the competition. By looking at the work it will give my an ida of what gets Fedrigoni going. Some work is not the executed to the best standard but are more concept driven. Also a lot of the work uses paper manipulation to answer the brief but I will have to be careful due to the quick turnaround of a week on this project.

Range of products to promote pantone

It is important for impact but also gain a short term and long term custom. If I can create a range for both it will enable sales later on after the start off campaign has kick started.

Other paper specialists competition

Compared to other paper firms I have looked at I haven't found a great deal of competition except for gf smith. Clean well controlled design to let the paper do the talking.

What would the audience gain from the selection tool?

The selection tool will enable designers to plan stock choices before buying bulks of stock and decided when they receive it, it's not what they were looking for. The selection tool demonstrates an idea of the texture and weight/ feel of the stock. It will be less work for designers to go out and find stocks from different resources when a whole range of colored stocks are in front of them.

When would the product be used?

The product is ideally used for designers who are ready to print a document. Would they choose this whilst designing or choose at a printers? The tool will be used at different stages of the design process. Would it be ideal for the selection tool to be present next to designers whilst producing mock ups, thumbnails, design development. The selection tool needs to be in the design studio as soon as possible.
